Peartree Cottage has become a popular retreat for many regular Blue Mountains visitors almost as much for its prime location in the National Trust village of Leura as for its high standard of presentation.
It is located between the Village centre and the Leura Golf Club/Fairmont Resort complex. In the next street (Everglades Avenue) is the National Trust listed mecca for garden-lovers, and wedding photographers, the wonderful Everglades Gardens. Everglades Gardens is an important example of the outstanding turn-of-the-century landscaper Paul Sorensen. Dry-stone walls are a feature of these gardens.
